Several members of North Coast UMCI brave the cold temperatures to head out for a cool but clear January ride! The first ride of 2008. We took the first chance we could to ride, with some of us not being able to get our bikes out of the garage for nearly two months!

OK, we are waiting for Don to get his GPS route, XM radio station and his CB on Channel 1......Who says we can't multi task!
Jim and Joy may look cold but what you are not seeing is that they are steaming with their heated clothing on. I tell ya, heated clothing is the way to go... We have made a couple of day rides to Gerbing's Heated Clothing retail store in Union Washington and it really pays off on those cold days.
Stop at McDonald's in Raymond Washington to primp and GET SOME HOT coffee....
Now where did I put my Harley Hat? Oh, there it is right under my Harley jacket and Harley gloves!
OK, next time I am not going to wear my hat, Under the helmet!
These guys are taking way too much time....I am already inside and had drank two cups of coffee before they got off of their bikes!

We had a great ride and lunch....It was great to get out and get the batteries charged in our spirit and our bikes. It warmed up to nearly 51 degrees which seems warm right now as I look out the window and see snow on ground. We will be looking forward to spring and more riding days in the future....See you down the road! Doug.....
