Riding Hwy 53

This is a movie..Make sure you hit the play button.....

Hwy 53 from Hwy 26 at Necanicum Junction to Hwy 101 near Nehalem is known to some who ride this area as one of the best twisty, corner carving, seat puckering roads in the Northwest. There are many switchback turns which can challenge the best rider. Someone in ODOT found some extra yellow paint so there is a lot of no passing double yellow line areas. If you can get on this road without getting behind a slower moving vehicle, you will have a great ride! Watch for sand and gravel kicked up by larger vehicles which travel this road.

Yo, Doug. Really have enjoyed your
pictures and comments. Hope to see
you and your wife as soon as the
weather lets me get my butt in the
saddle. You will see Jim Roehr's
trike with me on board.
Take care and pray for riding
time. Keep up the pictures!

I didn't know you could post videos on this blog. Wonderful !!!
Now all I need to do is figure out how to make the video play and remember to turn down the sound
to save my hearing...

I finally got it to play. LONG buffering... Fun going thru the
corners @ half of Honda speed. Gave
me plenty of time to watch the scenery...
